Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-3 years of related work experience in interior design, architecture, or space planning required
  • Skilled in Google Suite Tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
  • Skilled in AutoCAD- required
  • Proficient or ability to learn client specific CAFM software
  • Proficient or ability to learn project specific design software- SketchUp | Photoshop
  • Proficient in programming and space planning for varying sized spaces
  • Excellent organization and documentation experience required
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Excellent client service and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings, concepts & design
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and quality

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a workplace design point of contact for design project
  • Delivers client workplace guidelines; recommends new standards and looks for continued improvements to the client workplace design
  • Creates test fits and suggests workplace improvements in response to client business needs
  • Provides proposals to maximize space efficiencies while implementing solutions in-line with corporate real estate goals
  • Collaborates with Real Estate Portfolio Strategist, Project Management, Occupancy Planners, Move Managers and other CRE team members
  • Interfaces with Client to develop new workplace options, finalize project design concepts and prepare final documents for client approval
  • Organizes all data analytics and space solutions into presentation format for client delivery
  • Confirm preliminary space plans and design concepts are safe, functional, aesthetically appropriate, and meet all public health, safety, and applicable code requirements
  • Establishes and maintains an organized file system for all projects
  • Communicates with Project Management, Space Planning and Move Management for CAD needs and coordinate updates to the drawings accordingly
  • Provides reporting on the implementation of projects while in progress and upon completion
  • Determine selection of colors, materials, and finishes to appropriately convey the concept and meet clients requirements
  • Establish selection and specification of interior architectural elements, fixtures, equipment, and millwork, including layout drawings. Coordinate with the furniture team to establish detailed product description to facilitate pricing for procurement and installation of furniture.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Specialized knowledge of various office furniture systems
  • Ability to learn new graphic software to complement the presentation of new designs
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of various office furniture systems
  • Possesses analytical skills and the ability to develop conclusions and recommendations
  • Experienced in managing design projects of varied scope and complexity
