Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in design or graphic related disciplines, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency desired in Adobe Creative Suite software, with emphasis on but not limited to Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Proficiency desired in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Experience using Bluebeam, Acrobat, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency desired in Microsoft Project or Project Management software is desired.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, is required.
Responsibilities
- Enables the Environmental Graphics & Signage / Interior Design planning teams to work strategically with project teams assembled for clinical, academic and research projects.
- Assists and works with the planning, design, and construction staff with the development of facility projects (renovation and new construction) and the refurbishment of existing facilities.
- Provides scheduling assistance on internal project teams, and with outside Associates.
- Provides diverse areas of administrative support including reports relating to capital planning, space planning and programming, costs and estimating, standards, and data base management.
- Assists with presentations, prepares special reports, and helps document project activity.
- Supports projects with field survey work and installation vendor coordination.
- Maintains a regular dialogue with OSUWMC Supply Chain and Facilities, Design and Construction (FDC) staff.
- Can work independently on minor projects.
