Intelligence Analyst

2 years’ experience as an Intelligence Analyst or experience in EDD, transaction monitoring/compliance/AML with a financial institution, law enforcement or a payment-focused company preferred
Knowledge of BSA/AML regulations, risks, and typologies
A strong operations mindset involving time sensitive directives and ability to self-manage workflow across competing priorities
An ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a drive to deliver outstanding results
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with open source research and collections techniques

Monitor and act upon supporting documentation requests from law enforcement, filed by either the SIU or various SAR teams
Track and document each SAR request, besides other various law enforcement requests, and follow up with law enforcement for any additional inquiries
Track, document and triage each 314b request from member institutions
Support the broader SIU team and investigators with their casework, including running SQL and Snowflake queries to provide necessary investigative data
Interact with internal stakeholders to ensure full compliance with all applicable laws and policies
Work cross-functionally with Operations teams across Block in addition to other Compliance programs such as the Emerging Risk program
Conduct open source scraping and subject research prior to case assignments
