Requirements
- 8+ years of experience with systems integration
- Experience with distributed modeling and simulation
- Experience with distributed simulation protocols such as High-Level Architecture (HLA) and Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS)
- Experience with networks and networking concepts
- Experience with Joint C4I tactical systems such as Link 16, GCCS-J, AFATDS, C2PC, CAC2S, JADOCS, or Army Mission Command Systems
- Knowledge of the principles associated with creating virtual and constructive environments
- Ability to utilize network and distributed modeling and simulation tools such as Wireshark, Redsim, SIMDIS, or RTI-s
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of the Marine Corps’ Live, Virtual, and Constructive Training Environment
- Design and develop systems for customer training and mission readiness
- Evolve systems with advanced technology solutions
- Broaden skillset into areas like technology, acquisition, and training design
- Merge software, hardware, and network capacity to create a persistent, networked, live, virtual, and constructive training environment for marines that supports all-domain training solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the Team Awareness Kit (TAK)
- Experience with JLVC, Joint Exercise Control System (JECS), JCATS, JSAF, JLOD, JDLM, or ACE-IOS software
- Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
- Experience with Battle Staff training
- Knowledge of the Marine Corps Training and Education Command, the Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Center, and Battle Simulation Centers
- Knowledge of the Marine Corps Synthetic Training Environment, or Force Design 2030
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or IT
- SEP Certification
- Enterprise Architect Certification
