Requirements

  • strong insurance and annuity sales experience
  • a Bachelor degree
  • 5+ years of experience in financial services
  • excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills required to effectively communicate with a variety of audiences, including financial advisors and potentially clients
  • excellent relationship building, written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced team environment
  • FINRA 7 and 66 (or 63 & 65) required
  • Active Life & Health insurance license

Responsibilities

  • responsible for building new and maintaining existing relationships with advisors and field leaders to increase adoption/sales of insurance and annuity solutions
  • conduct calls with financial advisors and clients on insurance and annuity products acting as their specialist
  • collaborate with advisors to include insured solutions as part of a financial or retirement plan for clients with the ability to educate advisors on delivering insurance and annuity solutions
  • executing on proactive call campaigns as well as responding to inbound product calls
  • provide proactive and reactive advice for advisors and field leaders on insurance and annuity products and structuring
  • coordinating, planning, and presenting both internal and external educational events for financial advisors
  • maintain an effective relationships with internal and external insurance company partners to help drive business and increase activity
  • develop and maintain, training and educational materials designed to support the insurance and annuity businesses

  • willing to travel to key markets when necessary (up to 25%)
