Requirements

  • Experience in disassembling, inspecting, cleaning, repairing, calibrating, testing, and performing periodic maintenance on field instruments, equipment systems, and controls.
  • Ability to connect, program, evaluate, and troubleshoot instrumentation and control equipment.
  • Knowledge of programming logic for Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and related control devices.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customer staff regarding calibration, repair, and operation of equipment.
  • Ability to maintain detailed records of inspections, maintenance, repairs, and other activities.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all workplace safety policies and quality guidelines to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Connect, program, evaluate, and troubleshoot instrumentation and control equipment, ensuring compliance with quality and customer standards.
  • Record and report abnormal equipment functions or out-of-tolerance conditions, initiating corrective actions and proper documentation.
  • Maintain detailed records of inspections, maintenance, repairs, and other activities following approved guidelines and procedures.
  • Reinstall, test, evaluate, calibrate, and maintain instruments or devices after repair work is completed.
  • Communicate effectively with customer staff regarding calibration, repair, and operation of equipment as necessary.
  • Perform all tasks in accordance with approved equipment, calibration, maintenance, and safety procedures.
  • Maintain equipment and work areas in clean, safe, and organized condition.
  • Perform run-offs and testing of electrical enclosures to ensure proper operation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational needs.
