Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Applied Science, Biology, and Chemistry, or related discipline, including military experience and 3+ years of experience OR
  • High school degree or equivalent with 5+ years of related experience

Responsibilities

  • Work order management related to laboratory instruments.
  • Provide front-line support for end-to-end incident resolution related to laboratory instruments.
  • Primary contact for triage resolution of front-line instruments.
  • Secondary contact for incident ticket management – ensuring work orders are created and recorded in the appropriate systems.
  • Work with Associate ISC to coordinate with customers – keeping them informed of the statuses of the work orders.
  • Work with Associate ISC as needed to coordinate with vendors – keep customers informed of when third parties will visit to resolve work orders.
  • Vendor management, including scheduling, transporting and hosting vendors and engineers while on site.
  • Responsible for ensuring records are kept complete within both customer and PerkinElmer systems, including the asset inventory management team systems.
  • Maintain training and compliance in areas of health and safety, security, environmental and operational aspects of daily activities in the working environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of GLP/GxP and/or experience working in a compliance-driven environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of EHS procedures.
  • Expertise in HPLC, UPLC, LCMS, simple quad mass specification or FSC
  • Experience with analytical equipment and/or laboratory environments
  • Working knowledge of SAP and database management
