Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of nursing practice as a registered nurse in a clinical setting or medical-surgical nursing practice experience.
Responsibilities
- 40% Didactic and Clinical instruction
- 10% Develop, implement, and conduct assessments on program and course student learning outcomes
- 20% Evaluate student performance in lecture and clinical courses.
- 10% Academic advising of students
- 10% Develop course outlines, clinical experience to implement the curriculum design
- 5% Participate in program, divisional, and University Committees
- 5% Select textbooks, audiovisuals and software, laboratory equipment and supplies library holdings consistent with curriculum design and program needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 years of nursing practice as a registered nurse in a clinical setting or medical-surgical nursing practice experience.
- Master’s degree in Nursing
- Ability to bend, lift, assist with, and provide competent bedside patient care in an acute care facility.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
