Requirements
- PhD in Nursing or related discipline (or a Master’s degree in nursing or related discipline with relevant clinical and teaching experience if no qualified PhD applicants are available)
- Experience in teaching nursing ethics
- Evidence of competent and effective teaching experience at the undergraduate university level (letters of reference and course/performance evaluations)
- Current registration with College of Nurses of Ontario
Responsibilities
- Scheduled contact time with students
- Preparation of lectures
- Student consultation
- Marking and grading
- Course administration, including grade appeals and cases of academic dishonesty
