Requirements
- Relevant MA or PhD, or equivalent professional experience.
- Significant experience in public policy development, preferably within the cultural sector.
- Knowledge of the history and application of Canadian cultural policy.
- Previous teaching experience at the university level is required, preferably in STAC.
- Demonstrated teaching competence through previous course evaluations or 3 letters of reference.
- Appropriate professional affiliations.
- Demonstrated experience in experiential learning and online teaching.
Responsibilities
- Scheduled contact time with students.
- Preparation of lectures.
- Student consultation.
- Marking and grading.
- Course administration, including grade appeals and cases of academic dishonesty.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous teaching experience in STAC preferred.
