Requirements

  • Criminal background check and fingerprinting required
  • High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma
  • No professional work experience required
  • Relevant Health Science License or certificate, including but not limited to Certified Nurse Aide License, Certified Pharmacy Tech Credential, Qualified Behavioral Health Certificate, Certified Occupational Therapy Aide, Certified Physical Therapy Aide Certificate, Emergency Medical Technician License, etc. A Certificate of Program Completion may be substituted for the above licenses and credentials.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate documentation and logistics for work-based learning (WBL) activities by collecting, organizing, and following up on required student forms for experiences such as field trips, clinicals, and job shadows.
  • Provide instructional support to students through one-on-one and small group assistance, reinforcing classroom learning, promoting skill development, and encouraging academic progress.
  • Support classroom operations by preparing instructional materials, setting up the learning environment, administering make-up assessments, and assisting with daily logistics to ensure a smooth and organized classroom experience.
  • Support pathway purchasing and budgeting by coordinating with instructors on ordering equipment, supplies, and arranging for maintenance of instructional resources.
  • Manage Health and Wellness lab spaces by organizing supplies, maintaining inventory, preparing instructional materials, and ensuring tools and equipment are ready for student use.
  • Support planning and execution of pathway events by assisting with scheduling, preparation, and on-site coordination for student-facing activities such as CTSO meetings, recognition events, and other program-based gatherings.
  • Coordinate across instructional staff to ensure classroom materials are prepared, and shared spaces are set up for smooth transitions between classes and instructors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
