Requirements
- DEC in aerospace, mechanical or similar
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office software (Power point /Excel/Word) and SAP
- Minimum 2 years of P&WC inspection experience or equivalent
- Professional ability to work without direct guidance or direction from others
- The candidate must be quality driven and be accountable for results
- Candidate must be driven to meet customer requirements
- Knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and conduct final verification of engines and parts prior to shipment
- Sign airworthiness release certificate
- Develop and maintain processes and procedures to support engine certification in accordance with TCCA standards
- Support the unit for the evaluation of non-conformances and investigations
- Participate to new engine programs certification process
- Respond to customer requests following engine delivery
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience & training in a P&WC Quality function (would be an asset)
- Familiar with the ECATES system and the procedures at the Engine Center (would be an asset)
