Requirements
- 5+ years of proven relevant sales management experience, preferably in a startup company
- At least 1-2+ years in a sales management role
- Marketplace experience is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to build scalable processes and implement strategies that have led to a proven track record in SMB sales
- Strong negotiating and strategic selling skills – qualifying targets and prioritizing sales efforts
- Proven ability to develop/drive and thrive in a metrics-driven, process-based environment with high accountability
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and data analytics platforms
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Driver Onboarding Representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to ensure the team’s success
- Actively monitor and analyze the team’s performance in order to identify areas of improvement
- Reinforce operational excellence – attaining SLA’s, sales opportunity oversight, SAO’s, etc.
- Implement strategic sales plans to expand our customer base, drive revenue growth, and achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market changes to adapt sales strategies accordingly
- Monitor and manage the sales pipeline to ensure accurate forecasting and timely conversion of leads into sales
- This role directly reports to the CRO
