Responsibilities
- Prepare production paperwork for machine start-up and operation.
- Monitor machine operation to ensure parts are collected into storage boxes and are counted correctly.
- Pull shots for quality checks following machine re-starts or as needed.
- Identify nonconformities and inform the Shift QA. (hourly checks)
- Evaluate product to ensure high quality and conformance with established standards.
- Report any food safety and quality problems or concerns.
- Evaluate and document machine performance.
- Tape boxes shut, label the boxes, and stack for shipment.
- Prepare paperwork at the end of the shift for the following shift, noting any problems or exceptions that occurred.
- Maintain a clean and safe working area.
- Perform sweeping, cleaning, sorting duties as necessary.
- Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and procedures.
- Start up Injection molding machines.
- Clean out grinders.
- Trouble shoot minor machine/part issues.
