Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in infrastructure construction, civil engineering, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure workflows for transportation (roads, bridges, railways, airports, etc.), utilities, electrical grids, telecommunications, and site development.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Expertise in Autodesk solutions, including Autodesk Construction Cloud, Civil 3D, Infraworks, Navisworks, Revit.
  • Experience with SaaS sales or cloud-based collaboration platforms.
  • Familiarity with digital twin technology and data-driven infrastructure workflows.
  • Knowledge of global infrastructure standards and practices (EMEA/APAC experience is a plus).
  • Results-driven, analytical, and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, thriving in dynamic environments.
  • Hungry, humble, and smart team player with advanced interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% to meet with customers and attend events.

Responsibilities

  • Work with customers to document current company challenges, goals, processes and workflows to better tailor to their business objectives.
  • Recommend and demonstrate Autodesk Construction Solutions in the context of infrastructure industry with knowledge of related technology like Civil 3D, Infraworks, and Navisworks, tailored to meet specific customer needs.
  • Collaborate with customers to design workflows and integrations that improve efficiency and address unique project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders to become a trusted advisor as an infrastructure SME.
  • Provide ongoing technical guidance and support to drive customer success and Autodesk solution adoption.
  • Facilitate handoffs between pre-sales and post-sales teams to ensure smooth transitions and continuous value delivery.
  • Collaborate with account teams to identify and pursue opportunities in infrastructure markets, including transportation (roads, bridges, railways, airports, etc.), utilities, electrical grids, telecommunications, and site development.
  • Participate in sales calls and meetings as the technical expert, showcasing Autodesk’s ability to address customer pain points.
  • Build and execute technical sales strategies that align with customer business objectives.
  • Support Autodesk sales representatives in achieving or exceeding revenue targets through technical expertise and customer engagement.
  • Deliver compelling, customized product demonstrations and presentations that clearly articulate Autodesk’s value proposition.
  • Correlate technical capabilities to measurable business outcomes, emphasizing ROI and project efficiencies.
  • Represent Autodesk at industry events, webinars, and trade shows as a subject matter expert.
  • Provide technical validation and support for proposals, ensuring the feasibility and completeness of recommended solutions.
  • Assist in responding to RFPs, RFQs, and other technical inquiries, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
  • Document technical requirements, metrics, and customer criteria within Salesforce and other tools.
  • Stay informed about trends, standards, and innovations in the infrastructure industry, sharing insights with Autodesk teams and customers.
  • Contribute to Autodesk’s thought leadership by participating in speaking engagements, writing white papers, and presenting at industry conferences.
  • Advocate for customers by providing product feedback to Autodesk development teams.
  • Partner with internal teams, including marketing, customer success, and product development, to align Autodesk’s offerings with market demands.
  • Mentor sales and technical teams, sharing expertise in infrastructure workflows and Autodesk solutions.
  • Develop and deliver training materials, resources, and workshops for internal teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • EMEA/APAC experience is a plus.
