Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any of Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience leading a cross-functional team (both onshore and offshore)
  • 8+ years of experience gathering non-functional requirements, performing designed and validated application architecture frameworks, and executing functional and testing assignments
  • 8+ years of experience translating security requirements into client ready design documents
  • 8+ years of experience with application architecture security analysis, design, and delivery
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Define and oversee the Security Infrastructure technical direction and architectural vision, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and digital transformation efforts
  • Translate the vision of business leaders into realistic technical information security implementations, while identifying misaligned initiatives and impractical use cases
  • Key contributor in architecting a comprehensive security TOGAF framework that supports the deployment, evaluation, and management of infrastructure elements across the NXP enterprise
  • Select appropriate security technologies from a pool of existing and potential offerings, considering deployment models and integration with existing solutions
  • Develop and design security architecture frameworks for complex integrated infrastructure
  • Lead technical discussions and solutions for Information Security Infrastructure, to include: determining Infrastructure requirements & system integration points/interfaces, processing re-engineering issues, and evaluating application design and implementation strategies
  • Manage initiatives & projects of significant complexity and risk. Provide leadership to assigned client areas or teams
  • Maintain prioritized security roadmap, develop work estimates, and ensure successful delivery to support strategic planning and initiatives, improve organizational performance, and advance progress towards NXP goals
  • Lead improvement teams and projects within Information Security Infrastructure; lead the development and delivery of training relevant to area of expertise
  • Perform continual assessments and research of new security technology innovations
  • Collaborate with Enterprise, Application, Security, Data & DevOps Architects, Network Engineers, Server Engineers, Cloud Engineers, Storage Engineers, and Business teams to pilot use cases and discuss architectural design
  • Gather inputs from multiple stakeholders to align technical implementation with existing and future requirements
  • Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers, legal, and other business units
  • Be responsible for the successful architecture & design of Secure Infrastructure solutions
  • Audit implementations and practices across server, storage, network, and cloud focusing on continuous improvement and feedback mechanisms
  • Help IT product managers and business stakeholders understand the potential and limitations of security standards when planning new deployments
  • Break down client problems and bring an understanding of leading technology, analytics methods, tools, and operating model approaches
  • Conduct research to provide technical solutions to scale secure IT infrastructures for real-world challenges, making trade-offs based on quality, scalability, performance, and cost
  • Build tools and capabilities that assist with data ingestion, feature engineering, data management, and organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degrees such as Masters is preferred
  • Certifications in security, networking, systems, and storage technologies, such as Cisco CCIE, TOGAF, Zachman, NetApp NCIE, VMWare VCP, Palo Alto PCNSE, SSEE, AWS Certified Architect
  • Certifications in PMP, ITIL or other project/domain specific
  • Security certifications such as: CISSP, CISA, CISM, OWASP, and others
