Requirements

  • Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or ARM templates
  • Strong understanding of networking, storage, and virtualization technologies
  • Familiarity with mid-range network configurations and cloud security practices
  • Hands-on experience with Azure services and Kubernetes
  • Strong communication abilities to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or cloud engineering
  • Proven experience in managing hybrid environments and implementing cloud solutions

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the infrastructure team, fostering collaboration and technical growth while overseeing key projects
  • Configure, optimize, and maintain systems, including virtual machines, storage solutions and network components
  • Act as the escalation point for complex infrastructure issues, guiding troubleshooting processes
  • Implement and manage cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions to ensure reliability, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and implement automation to improve efficiency and streamline operations
  • Collaborate with the IT Security team to maintain secure and compliant infrastructure environments
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure processes and configurations
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to execute projects and support evolving organizational needs
  • Manage IT Infrastructure Operations after-hours support coverage
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to infrastructure strategies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cloud certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate) preferred
  • ITIL or other IT service management frameworks is a plus
