Requirements
- 5+ years in IT infrastructure engineering, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (VMs, VNets, Azure AD, NSGs, ExpressRoute/VPN).
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki (Switching, Wireless, Security Appliances).
- Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet FortiGate firewalls (rule management, VPNs, threat prevention).
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows/Linux server environments (Hyper-V/VMware).
- Strong hands-on experience with networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, DHCP, DNS).
- Scripting or infrastructure automation skills (e.g., PowerShell, Terraform, Bicep) a plus.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, PRTG, SolarWinds, Data Dog) and ticketing systems.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass a background check and drug screening.
Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain resilient hybrid infrastructure across Azure and on-premises platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Windows Server).
- Ensure secure integration and seamless operation between cloud and on-prem systems.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure services (IaaS, PaaS, networking, storage, identity).
- Implement automation, monitoring, and backup solutions to optimize performance and cost-efficiency.
- Manage enterprise network environments using Fortinet (FortiGate), Cisco Meraki, and Aruba technologies.
- Configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs (site-to-site and client), SD-WAN, and secure internet gateways.
- Troubleshoot and optimize LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi and firewall performance.
- Oversee Windows/Linux server deployments, patching, and performance tuning.
- Ensure system availability, security, and capacity planning.
- Apply best practices in infrastructure security and participate in audits and compliance (ISO, NIST, SOX).
- Manage access controls, firewalls, and threat prevention systems.
- Work closely with DevOps, InfoSec, and Automation teams to support deployments and integrations.
- Provide Tier 3 support and act as an escalation point for complex infrastructure issues.
- Maintain detailed documentation for network/system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, etc.).
- Fortinet NSE 4 or higher.
- Meraki CMNA or Cisco certifications (CCNA/CCNP).
- Experience in hybrid identity and access management (AD, Azure AD, SSO).
