Information Systems Security Officer – Senior

15+ years of experience as an ISSO on Government and/or DoD contracts
Experience proposing, coordinating, implementing and enforcing information systems security policies, standards and methodologies
Experience developing and maintaining documentation for C&A in accordance with ODNI and DoD Policies
Experience providing CM for security-relevant information system software, hardware, and firmware
Experience supporting clients and high-level government or corporate officers
Knowledge of current security tools, hardware/software security implementation, communication protocols or encryption tools
Ability to evaluate security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information
Ability to serve as an Information System Security Manager (ISSM) and provide oversight to other ISSOs
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Bachelor’s degree
DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level 1 or higher

Identify the security system needed to assess vulnerabilities and recommend the best solution and security strategy
Lead the development and implementation of security solutions that will protect infrastructure
Troubleshoot and analyze complex challenges for customers using knowledge of security devices and implementation
Research and develop security solutions based on technology and market trends
Assess security threats and implement infrastructure controls
Develop relationships quickly and easily with other teams, communicating the complexities of security with a wide variety of audiences, including senior management
Implement infrastructure and system security controls, including enhanced detection and vulnerability capabilities and improved event correlation in large enterprises
Perform risk and vulnerability assessments in network, system, and application areas; leverage big data analytics and traditional security event types to identify advanced threats or indicators of compromise
