• 8570 certification: IAM Level II Certification (CAP, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC, CCISO)
• Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree: BA/BS or equivalent years of experience

Responsibilities

• Performs all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction
• Understands Department of Defense (DOD) RMF based Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes and procedures
• Understands CIS-based A&A processes and associated stand-alone Security Control Traceability Matrix (SCTM) development
• Executes applicable test and verification methods for security requirements/controls
• Executes applicable domain-based security tools (Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Secure Content Automation Protocol (SCAP), ACAS, and Nessus)
• Performs analysis of, and develops reports for, system test results across multiple security domains
• Using XACTA, eMASS, and manual processes; develops and reviews RMF and CIS A&A packages across commercial and DOD unclassified and classified domains
• Ability to independently assess RMF security controls and develop supporting documentation
• Ensures security controls are implemented correctly, operating as intended, and are producing the desired outcome
• This position requires interaction with DoD community customers and industry providers
• Maintains current knowledge of industry standard Information Assurance best practices
• Participates in special projects as required
