Requirements

  • High School completion / GED
  • 1 – 3 years of job-related experience
  • Computer literate and keyboard proficiency
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work in a team environment
  • Outstanding customer service skills, conflict management and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with little to no supervision and exercises good time management
  • Ability to work in a high stress environment
  • Manage multiple tasks while remaining focused on the overall delivery of service to hospital customers

  • Accepts responsibility for mail, packages, flowers, and equipment left at the information desk and follows up on delivery to the correct location

Responsibilities

  • Provide a welcoming and positive first impression at all the Premier Health facilities
  • Provide information about hospital services, patient information, visitor information
  • Direct patients and visitors to patient rooms and hospital departments
  • Interface with all hospital departments and services to facilitate a timely and consumer oriented response to those needing assistance
  • Monitor the flow of activity at the various entrances
  • Offer accurate, simple directions, wayfinding to patients, families, and visitors
  • Monitor the supply of wheelchairs at the various entrances
