Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience as an industrial mechanic in a high-speed manufacturing or technical environment
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics and parts specifications
- Must have own hand tools
- Ability to diagnose, repair machine malfunctions, perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, manufacturing systems and controls
- Perform all duties related to computerized preventative maintenance programs
- Knowledge of baking and high-speed packaging equipment is preferred
Responsibilities
- Positions are 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) and/or 3rd shift (11pm-7am)
- Follow all company Safety Rules and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)
- Produce high quality products in a safe and healthful manner
- Work in all areas of processing and packaging, as assigned
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Assist fellow employees as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates Degree preferred
- Knowledge of baking and high-speed packaging equipment is preferred
