Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 2 years of technical project management experience
  • Six Sigma, Lean, TQM or process improvement experience
  • Supply Chain, Logistics, and/or Transportation experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours (some weekend/late hours may be required)
  • Ability to travel up to 10% (domestically and/or internationally)

Responsibilities

  • Lead 1–2 implementation projects, acting as the main point of contact and ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and with high-quality results
  • Understand business goals and use that insight to drive project planning, execution, and problem solving
  • Maintain key project documentation, including plans, process flows, resource needs, and business cases
  • Communicate progress clearly, lead project meetings, escalate risks, and support internal and external change management
  • Influence stakeholders without authority and confidently challenge the status quo when needed
  • Build strong relationships with project teams, customer stakeholders, and sales partners to support a smooth implementation
  • Track and report financials, including resource hours and billing, and support go-live and knowledge transfer to operations
  • Apply a structured implementation methodology to map current processes, capture customer expectations, and design future-state workflows
  • Recommend and support improvements to tools, processes, and implementation best practices
  • Guide and mentor new team members while ensuring compliance with internal control standards

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional certification preferred
  • Project management experience, with the proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Communicates complex ideas, anticipates potential objections, and persuades others, often at senior levels, to adopt a different point of view
  • Strong communication skills: strong listener with exceptional facilitation skills and the ability to tell the story and connect to your audience
  • Ability to organize, design, develop and deliver projects for internal and external audiences at all levels
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with subject matter experts internally and externally at all levels
  • Experience working and thriving in a continuous improvement environment
  • Experience with lean processes and tools such as value stream mapping, A3 project management, visual management, Pareto Analysis, and fishbone diagrams
  • Experience and comfort in dealing with ambiguity and able to deliver with minimal oversight
  • Experience working directly with customers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
