Requirements
- High School diploma with 0-1 year of experience in laboratory techniques and animal handling.
- U.S. Citizen
- Must pass NACI background check.
- Must be willing to work in a BSL 3/4 laboratory.
- Must be eligible to enroll in the BPRP and CS-PRP programs.
Responsibilities
- Preparing media and reagents for experiments.
- Assisting with animal challenges and bacterial preparations.
- Performing animal injections and observations.
- Conducting bacterial burden analyses in organ tissues.
- Maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies.
- Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Providing technical support for immunological research.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of laboratory safety and regulatory standards.
- Ability to prepare media and reagents accurately.
- Experience with animal handling and injections.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain laboratory equipment and manage supplies efficiently.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
