Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
- PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experienced in Visual studio, Matlab, Python and related toolboxes.
- Strong knowledge of Matlab, python and C related to scientific computation and machine learning.
Responsibilities
- System design and algorithm development for image processing in features extraction, enhancement, classification.
- Image processing of fingerprint for recognition and classification.
- Solve complex audio signal processing challenges related to audio and ultrasonic signals.
- Work with algorithm team and manufacturing group to define the quality level requirement for sensors.
- Come up with innovative ideas for performance enhancements and new roadmap features.
- End to end ownership of algo features from concept to commercialization (Matlab/Python to C).
- Data analysis for improved system and algorithm design.
- Optimization of algorithms for implementation on device.
- Provide technical reports and design documents.
- Travel to other QC offices or customers sites for collaborations and project support.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong analytic and problem solving skills. Proven track record of innovation and problem solving in form of patents and publications.
- Knowledge in optimization, machine learning techniques.
- Experience with audio, ultrasonic signal and image processing.
- Experience with fingerprint image processing.
- Knowledge in manufacturing quality control.
- PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or Mathematics.
