Requirements
- 5+ years in software development
- 3+ years in IIoT or edge computing
- Expertise in Ignition (SCADA, scripting)
- Expertise in HiveMQ (MQTT)
- Expertise in TimescaleDB
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and Java for UI development
- Advanced programming in Python and Java for backend and edge logic
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions
- Strong grasp of MQTT, OPC UA, or Modbus
- Ability to debug and innovate in industrial contexts
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize platform features using Ignition, HiveMQ, and TimescaleDB
- Build responsive front-end interfaces with HTML, CSS, and Java for industrial dashboards
- Write robust backend logic in Python and Java to process edge data and integrate systems
- Deploy and manage containerized applications with Kubernetes
- Automate CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for rapid, reliable releases
- Integrate industrial protocols (MQTT, OPC UA) and third-party APIs
- Ensure performance, security, and scalability of time-series data workflows
- Collaborate with teams to innovate and solve complex manufacturing challenges
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing or Industry 4.0 experience
- Familiarity with AWS IoT, Azure IoT, or similar platforms
- Knowledge of IIoT security practices
- GitHub portfolio with relevant projects
