Requirements
- Experience in production management or a related field
- Knowledge of SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) and quality programs
- Ability to lead disciplinary investigations and employee relations
- Experience in production planning and scheduling
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with various teams
- Ability to manage direct reports and conduct training and recruitment
Responsibilities
- Provide frontline leadership for the production department
- Drive manufacturing performance in Safety, Productivity, People, Cost, Quality, and Delivery
- Oversee manufacturing activities across all shifts
- Champion Factory Operating system practices
- Ensure compliance with quality and food safety programs
- Lead disciplinary investigations and employee relations
- Participate in daily FOS meetings
- Ensure weekly production schedules are communicated to production teams
- Manage projects relevant to the production area
- Coordinate with QA Innovations on new product trials
- Conduct employee reviews during the first 50 days
- Review production losses and coordinate improvements
- Work closely with the site training team to ensure proper training plans
- Coordinate recruitment activities for the area
- Oversee execution of quality and food safety programs in production
- Act as a point of contact for Union for the production floor
- Communicate site targets and goals from the Leadership Team to shift crews
- Coordinate with Maintenance teams
- Lead business waste reduction initiatives
- Manage and optimize blue collar labor costs
