Requirements
- B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or closely related field, with thesis work and/or relevant industry experience in mm-wave IC characterization
- Experience in RF Characterization of active and passive components (e.g. Reflection Coefficient, Matching, TOI, P1dB, Noise Figure, etc.)
- Expertise using test and measurement equipment (e.g. a network analyzer, signal source, spectrum analyzer, etc.)
- Wafer probe calibration and measurements of integrated circuits
- Software development
Responsibilities
- Design and develop test plans and procedures for ICs, including defining test methodologies and creating test programs
- Perform functional tests and characterization on ICs using custom-built test stations and other tools to assess performance, functionality, and reliability
- Analyze test data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues. Provide detailed reports and recommendations based on findings
- Troubleshoot and debug test failures, working closely with in-house design and process engineering teams to resolve issues
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance test efficiency and effectiveness
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of test procedures, results, and corrective actions
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise in automating electrical test
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in IC testing
- Knowledge in Semiconductor device physics/manufacturing processes
- Expertise in RF and analog integrated circuit design and analysis
- Knowledge in statistical analysis and process improvement
- Experience programming in C#, .NET, and Visual Studio
- Experience in PCB board design
- Experience in using the following tools or equivalent: ADS
