Requirements

  • Associate degree required, Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience or Associate Degree with 6 years of experience preferred.
  • Degree in Computer Science or a related IT field.
  • 5-7 years of related experience, specifically in technical support and training.
  • Strong understanding of technology to solve business issues.
  • Proven ability to work on strategic and tactical projects as part of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and execute assignments effectively.
  • Experience with Windows, MacOS, portable devices, and smartphones preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate integration of new medical staff and providers with Premier systems.
  • Serve as a liaison for providers regarding system access.
  • Develop training materials for supported technology and systems.
  • Support billing access for physicians and advance practice providers.
  • Implement and support access for external facilities.
  • Assist with new technology implementations and special projects.
  • Provide troubleshooting support and liaise with IT teams.
  • Offer round-the-clock support to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Manage security and access processes.
  • Support remote access for clinical system vendors.
  • Operate both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in supporting physician office environments is desirable.
  • Knowledge of platforms in use by physicians and advanced practice providers including but not limited to, Windows, MacOS and various portable devices and smartphones.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience providing training and support to users of varying technical capability.
