Requirements

  • High School or GEO; required bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field; preferred.
  • 4 years of HR experience; required.
  • Proficiency in FMLA and FLSA regulations
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in payroll processing, onboarding, hiring, and recruiting.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Integrity and Professionalism: High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and selection of candidates.
  • Maintain compliance with all employment laws and requirements, including FMLA and FLSA regulations.
  • Engage in all aspects of employee relations, including engagement initiatives, and new employee check-ups.
  • Oversee and manage all employee benefits, including insurance processing, selection, and addressing employee concerns.
  • Administer and adhere to program management guidelines and paperwork for H2A/H2B Visa seasonal workers.
  • Process and maintain records for all unemployment and worker’s compensation claims.
  • Assist with all audit procedures and preparations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process; preferred.
  • Experience with Paychex and Employee Navigator; preferred.
