Requirements

  • 3–5 years of recent experience as an HR Business Partner within a fast-paced, multi-unit operation (retail and/or service-based environments).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration/Management, related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience managing employee relations, coaching field leaders, and supporting performance management in a multi-unit retail setting.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, especially in employee relations, performance management, and team development.
  • Ability to influence and support leaders at all levels to drive performance and create a positive work environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive topics with care and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with Studio Managers to provide hands-on support around employee relations and performance management.
  • Serve as the go-to resource for employee relations, helping managers handle sensitive issues with clarity and empathy.
  • Coach Studio Managers on how to set clear goals, provide feedback, and hold their teams accountable.
  • Work with Studio Managers to identify opportunities for talent growth and close skill gaps.
  • Collaborate with leaders to develop and implement employee engagement strategies based on feedback and team dynamics.
  • Lead efforts to deliver a smooth onboarding experience for new hires, ensuring they are set up for success.
  • Ensure all HR practices adhere to legal requirements and industry standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and programs to better support the studio teams.
