Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or related technical discipline is required.
  • 3+ years’ experience preferred in an analytics position working with large amounts of data.
  • Experience in Analytics data modelling, storytelling, visualization such as Python/R, Power Platform (Power Query, Power App, and Power BI), SQL, Visual Basic, MS Excel, PowerPivot, MS Azure or DAX is required.
  • Experience in Workday reporting and/or Visier is highly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Partner across HR to research, analyze data, uncover opportunities, identify trends, and develop recommendations.
  • Communicate recommendations on initiatives and influence leaders through data, analytics, and interpretation of findings.
  • Collaborate with HR to build in-depth analyses with clear and actionable findings, and provide support for talent reporting needs.
  • Ensure quality and integrity of key HR data sets and metrics, maintaining awareness of best practices.
  • Create prescriptive data analysis to generate insight-driven solutions and identify hidden trends.
  • Design and develop effective dashboards, reports, presentations, and visual aids to educate and inform decisions.
  • Actively manage system upgrades, security, and user training in the analytical tool.
  • Improve system capabilities by creating custom metrics, attributes, guidebooks, and data validations.
  • Provide support to ad-hoc projects and ongoing programs, including operational talent reports with data-driven narratives.
  • Display an innovative mindset to expand capabilities by automating and streamlining processes.
  • Responsible for data cleansing, validation, testing, and analysis on large volumes of data.
  • Demonstrate exceptional judgment and discretion when dealing with sensitive human capital data and strategies.
  • Work with teams to ensure proper identification of all impacted data elements based on proposed changes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to carry out preprocessing of structured and unstructured data.
  • Ability to work with a virtual team across different time zones.
  • Broad industry knowledge of HR processes and data (e.g. Workforce Metrics, Recruitment Practices, Compensation, Performance/Talent Management, etc.) including knowledge of ERP, Business systems, HR System and Business Intelligence tools is desired.
  • Self-starter able to work independently with guidance but not direct supervision.
  • Self-motivated, curious, autonomous and willing to learn.
