Requirements
- Three years of analyzing data, conducting research, or equivalent human resources analytical experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, or a related field
- An equivalent combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis
Responsibilities
- Provide compensation expertise and counsel to departmental HR Business Partners with respect to all compensation matters, including salary management, recruitment and retention needs, and policy and procedures
- Perform research and analysis to determine competitive market ranges and provide recommendations
- Develop employment offers ensuring internal equity and market alignment
- Review job descriptions to determine the appropriate salary range for existing and proposed positions
- Ensure all positions are classified appropriately according to Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)
- Contribute to the design and communication of compensation programs
- Prepare and deliver presentations to management on compensation-related matters
- Develop and modify classification descriptions as needed
- Assist with the administration of the Pay for Performance program
- Participate in salary surveys and provide requested data
