Requirements
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in human resources, business, education, or a related field.
- Available to commit to at least 30 hours a week during the internship period
- Expected graduation date of December 2025 or later
- Willing to travel or relocate to Spartanburg, SC for the Summer of 2025
Responsibilities
- Assist with coordination of the new hire orientation
- Maintain training records for Spartanburg Assembly Plant team members
- Contribute to the creation of engaging training content that enhances employee skills and knowledge
- Help identify training needs within the organization and propose effective solutions to bridge knowledge gaps
- Assist with recruiting events including organizing, preparing, and participating in job fairs and campus recruiting as needed
- Assist with maintenance of confidential employee and applicant information utilizing various Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
- Support the training team with relevant projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient in software tools related to training development (e.g., Microsoft Office, Learning Management Systems, etc.)
- Strong academic performance with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Ability to learn new programs quickly in a fast-paced team environment
- Outstanding oral and written communication, organizational, prioritization and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong teamwork skills and proficiency working in a collaborative environment
- Strong listening and retention skills
- Ability to work independently at times to achieve goals
- Excellent interpersonal skills
