Human Resource Training Intern

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in human resources, business, education, or a related field.
• Available to commit to at least 30 hours a week during the internship period
• Expected graduation date of December 2025 or later
• Willing to travel or relocate to Spartanburg, SC for the Summer of 2025

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordination of the new hire orientation
• Maintain training records for Spartanburg Assembly Plant team members
• Contribute to the creation of engaging training content that enhances employee skills and knowledge
• Help identify training needs within the organization and propose effective solutions to bridge knowledge gaps
• Assist with recruiting events including organizing, preparing, and participating in job fairs and campus recruiting as needed
• Assist with maintenance of confidential employee and applicant information utilizing various Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
• Support the training team with relevant projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficient in software tools related to training development (e.g., Microsoft Office, Learning Management Systems, etc.)
• Strong academic performance with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Ability to learn new programs quickly in a fast-paced team environment
• Outstanding oral and written communication, organizational, prioritization and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Strong teamwork skills and proficiency working in a collaborative environment
• Strong listening and retention skills
• Ability to work independently at times to achieve goals
• Excellent interpersonal skills
