Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program (preferably HR, Business Administration, Poultry Science, or related field) with at least one year of school remaining.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies (Workday, Timekeeping systems).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a team.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn, self-motivated, and ability to work and complete tasks without supervision.
  • Location: Students must be within commutable distance to the facility, which is 60 miles or less.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate employee data in our HRIS system (Workday) and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Learn and utilize our timekeeping system to assist with data entry and reporting.
  • Generate HR reports using Microsoft Excel and communicate findings to the HR team.
  • Develop and deliver presentations on HR topics to team members.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned, which may include developing onboarding materials or employee engagement initiatives.
  • Assist in planning and executing Team Member engagement activities.
  • Develop strong communication skills by interacting with employees at all levels and maintaining positive relationships.
  • Participate in community engagement events as needed to represent the company culture.
  • Assist with internal investigation requests while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Provide support in any other duties as assigned by HRBP.
