Human Resource Generalist

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
3+ years of HR experience or relevant work experience.
Must be local to Austin, TX area
Must be able to manage in-person errands in Austin for mail and inventory
Extremely detail, process, and results oriented
Working understanding of human resource principles, best practices, and procedures
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional problem solving, time management, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently, execute multiple tasks simultaneously, and cut through ambiguity

Improve and build upon existing HR policies and processes, recommending proactive measures to Senior Leadership as needed to help us accomplish our long term goals
Process required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and full tax and legal compliance
Lead the administration of benefits and wellness plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations
Create employment contracts and manage team member records
Facilitate onboarding efforts for new teammates, ensuring an exceptional new team member experience in order to set everyone up for success on day one
Checking the org’s P.O. Box & managing snail mail
Manage the org’s equipment inventory in central Austin and ship equipment to team members as needed
