Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of daily hub operations
• Supervise city delivery dispatcher(s), hub delivery specialists, and other team members
• Ensure high level of accuracy and customer service for all city delivery service functions
• Work with city delivery dispatcher(s) to ensure proper invoicing to spoke stores
• Investigate shipping and inventory discrepancies
• Assist with monthly cycle counts and inventory control duties
• Ensure hub stockers check in and put up stock orders accurately and timely
• Focus on minimizing theft and paperwork shortages
• Oversee all hub delivery routes and maximize efficiency while minimizing costs
• Ensure safe driving practices and compliance with delivery service policies
• Manage hub-related expenses to maximize profitability
• Maintain an organized and clean city delivery area
• Schedule hub employees for adequate coverage while meeting payroll budget
• Maintain monthly work schedule for team members
• Ensure city delivery dispatcher monitors delivery specialist’s route schedule and communicates delays
• Work with store manager to cover routes in absence of regular staff
• Ensure vehicles are well maintained and inspections are completed
• Provide input on performance evaluations for team members
• Assist in the hiring process and participate in interviews
• Ensure timely new driver training and ongoing training completion
• Verify pre-employment drug tests and MVR approvals for drivers
• Ensure all drivers have an approved MVR on file

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiar with automotive parts
• Supervisor and/or manager experience
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
