Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or related field; HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience in both HR business partnering and talent and engagement programs.
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, performance management best practices, and employment law.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable presenting to and engaging with employees at all levels.
  • Data-driven mindset, with experience using metrics to assess program success and inform decision-making.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and People Partner to assigned teams, providing guidance on all aspects of the employee experience—including workforce planning, engagement, performance management, career development, and team effectiveness.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with managers and employees, offering proactive, solution-oriented support that drives individual and team success.
  • Partner with leaders to understand business priorities, identify people-related trends, and coach managers through team challenges, organizational change, and evolving business needs.
  • Balance employee advocacy with business alignment to support a positive, high-performing culture.
  • Partner with leadership and the L&D team to identify team development needs and implement targeted learning experiences.
  • Support succession planning and leadership development aligned with future business growth.
  • Partner with managers to promote a high-performance culture through continuous coaching, feedback, and career development discussions.
  • Guide managers through performance challenges, including feedback conversations, performance improvement plans, and progressive discipline.
  • Leverage people data and insights (e.g., turnover, engagement, retention trends) to inform strategies and recommend improvements to programs and practices.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations matters, conducting thorough investigations and ensuring fair, consistent, and legally sound outcomes.
  • Drive and/or support Talent and Culture initiatives, including annual performance reviews, goal setting, recognition, and engagement programs.
  • Help lead engagement survey efforts and action planning with leaders.
  • Partner with the team to ensure programs are inclusive across locations (e.g., Ohio, California, India), fostering connection and belonging.

Preferred Qualifications
