Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field is required.
  • Master’s Degree preferred.
  • More than 8 years of experience leading Human Resources processes.
  • Experience in Human Resources in production/manufacturing plants.
  • Hands-on experience and knowledge of Labor Relations.
  • Effective communication, both written and oral.
  • Focused work approach and execution of responsibilities.
  • Ability to learn, adapt, prioritize, and succeed in a face-paced environment.
  • Strong technology application and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR Systems (e.g., Workday).
  • Working knowledge of the State of New York Labor Laws.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the talent strategy site to all employees.
  • Develop HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of business objectives and desired organizational culture.
  • Process HR Operational Transactions related to Workday and timekeeping/payroll systems.
  • Drive initiatives to improve efficiency and cost savings.
  • Consult with management on a variety of HR and business-related issues, both strategic and operational.
  • Manage day-to-day employee relations, staffing, and compensation issues in partnership with managers and external partners.
  • Support organization wide talent planning initiatives (in partnership with talent management CoE) including assessment, calibration, development planning and succession planning.
  • Support remediation activities happening at site level.
  • Facilitate New Hire Orientation and HR Training programs.
  • Manage recordkeeping and filing system through knowledge of Microsoft Applications and niche software/systems in HR related field.
  • Support employee promotion and hiring process; develop or update job descriptions, attend job fairs, assist with developing performance expectations.
  • Support all compliance requirements and ensure ethical, equal opportunity, and safe work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree preferred.
