Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or HR certification preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment law
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with HRIS and data-driven decision-making
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business strategy
- Partner with leadership to align workforce planning and talent management goals
- Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, resolving conflicts and managing disciplinary processes
- Foster a culture of feedback, transparency, and continuous improvement
- Implement employee engagement and recognition programs
- Oversee the performance review cycle, including goal-setting, feedback, and development planning
- Support managers in addressing performance concerns and coaching employees
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws
- Maintain and update HR policies, employee handbook, and internal documentation
- Administer compensation plans and benefit programs
- Benchmark salary and benefits to stay competitive in the market
- Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development programs
- Support career development and internal mobility
- Manage HR systems (HRIS), personnel files, and data reporting
- Track HR metrics and generate reports for leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Tech
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification
- Experience scaling HR practices in a fast-growing organization
