Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of HR experience; automotive industry experience is a plus
- Proficiency in Paylocity HRIS or similar platforms
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Promote a positive, productive work culture across all locations
- Provide employee relations support to the HR Assistant Manager
- Support internal communications, employee relations, and engagement efforts
- Drive HR process improvements and training initiatives
- Analyze HR data and generate reports to support strategic decision-making
- Assist with accommodations, leaves of absence, and other HR initiatives
- Collaborate with managers on employee performance, development programs, and policy implementation
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies
- Assist with benefits administration, leave management, and Paylocity-related inquiries
- Support time and attendance tracking and payroll reporting
- Assist with new hire onboarding and training coordination
- Support recruiting and hiring efforts, including job postings, interviews, and background checks
- Coordinate recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and offboarding processes
- Provide technical and functional support for Paylocity users
- Administer and manage employee data and HR processes through Paylocity
Preferred Qualifications
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred
