Requirements
- Experience in Specialty Pharmacy or related Industries
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, Management or other related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience, including at least 2 years managing a team
- Strong intuition and ability to gauge and manage reactions to sensitive topics
- Proven track record of good communication skills
- Solid understanding of regulatory requirements including but not limited to reporting requirements, employment laws (California a plus) and the FLSA
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks and work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Strong judgement, high level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality related to sensitive matters
Responsibilities
- Focus on developing and maintaining efficient HR processes while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and promoting operational excellence.
- Manage a team of four HR professionals to ensure flawless execution of all core HR processes (recruitment, people and succession planning, talent management, HR operations, compensation and benefits, etc.).
- Partner with management on HR-related issues, acting as a balanced advocate and change agent.
- Execute initiatives as directed by management.
- Maintain an awareness of new practices and relevant metrics both in the HR field and in the pharmaceutical industry and benchmark as appropriate to ensure the company retains a competitive stance.
- Build understanding of business and organizational issues and serve as a key driver of ensuring that staff are adhering to high standards of excellence and safety.
- Manage company events including venue selection, budgeting, and all other logistics.
- Other duties as assigned.
