Requirements
- Undergraduate Degree in Human Resources or a relevant field
- Change Management certification from an accredited institution is an asset
- Minimum 5-7 years’ related experience in HR and/or OCM
- Ability to think outside the box, see the bigger picture and the sustainability of each project/initiative
- Ability to effectively interact at all levels of the organization and influence how HR can impact business success
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate messages to a variety of audiences
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail
- Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships and work collaboratively with others in a hybrid and cross-border environment
- Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work in an evolving environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Responsibilities
- Understanding and defining the scope of various HR changes and initiatives requiring OCM support
- Conducting impact assessments to identify impacted stakeholders, potential risks and challenges associated with change initiatives
- Developing change management strategies and plans using well-established change management methodology to support the implementation of HR changes and initiatives of various size and scope, e.g. Payroll, Performance Management, etc.
- Liaise with Corporate Communications to develop and create tailored communications and training plans to effectively engage impacted stakeholders throughout their change journey;
- Creating and/or updating training materials to help support the adoption of change such as, Work Aids, training videos, and content on HR Sharepoint and intranet sites
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary project teams on changes, attending project team meetings and integrating change management activities into project plans
- Leading and coordinating the execution of change initiatives across different departments or teams
- Collaborating with the North American (NA) HR team to keep them aware of upcoming changes and change plans; Providing updates on relevant changes and initiatives during monthly NA HR Standup meetings
- Supporting Plains’ annual performance programs including program enhancements, communications and executive briefings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Workday is preferred
