Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Management or business related field from an accredited college or university
- Three (3) to five (5) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR / SHRM-CP) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR / SHRM–SCP) preferred
- Knowledge of Human Resources practices, functions, approaches, and applicable employment law and regulations
- Ability to prioritize work for timely completion in a fast-paced virtual environment
- Ability to lead and manage large scale projects
- Ability to follow complex oral and written instructions
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
- Skill in Microsoft Office applications and in operating office equipment
- Ability to travel 30% of the time
- Ability to commute with personal transportation
Responsibilities
- Builds business partner relationships with management and staff
- Provides continuous coaching and guidance to client groups regarding organizational issues that are negatively impacting overall effectiveness
- Conducts appropriate diagnosis and potential interventions
- Manages employee relations and corrective actions matters ensuring all regulatory compliance and legal requirements are met
- Develops recommendations and provides guidance to clients for resolution
- Analyzes trends and root causes and looks for opportunities to improve work environment and client group satisfaction
- Ensures clients receive assistance with all aspects of the annual performance review and rewards programs including coaching on effective documentation practices and facilitating robust calibration and talent review meetings
- Manages the talent acquisition process within all client groups by screening, interviewing, and supporting the selection of talent
- Ensures all new talent receives appropriate on-boarding and orientation programs
- Ensures exit interviews are used to identify gaps in the talent experience
- Partners with other Human Resources colleagues to seek expertise and ensures effective delivery of service.
Preferred Qualifications
