Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required. Wisconsin: RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- ACLS, NRP, and PALS required as per local affiliate guidelines.
- 1 year Nursing experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Provides shift coordination across departments within the nursing division to promote continuity of patient care by assuring compliance with medical and nursing orders.
- Coordinates patient placement, monitors nursing activities, and channels selected information.
- Addresses issues outside of nursing, as needed, to ensure patient, staff and visitor concerns are resolved.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
- Leadership experience preferred.
