Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA) or 75-hour nurse aide training (CNA).
- One year of experience as a nurse aide in a hospital, nursing home, home care agency, or a private setting under the direct supervision of a RN, which can be verified.
- Completion of skills competency test with 80% or higher score.
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance in your name as a driver
- Capable of all physical demands
Responsibilities
- Assist patients as needed with lifting and transferring
- Maintain good relationships with the patient, the patient’s family, and staff. Reports any changes to the patient’s medical and living conditions to the supervisor or the case manager.
- Ensure the living environment is healthy and safe.
- Completes all documentation following agency protocol and Medicare/Federal guidelines.
- Attend in-service training and mandatory agency meetings.
