Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes and best practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable presenting to small groups
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • HRIS Experience (Workday strongly preferred)
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to various HR functional teams.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide timely assistance and follow through.
  • Enforce HR procedures and help employees navigate company policies.
  • Assist with timecard review and adjustments for hourly employees.
  • Process employee terminations and coordinate offboarding tasks.
  • Assist the Talent Acquisition team with recruitment efforts and scheduling candidate interviews.
  • Process new hires and complete employment eligibility documentation in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate onboarding process for new hires and facilitate orientation.
  • Maintain employee records and process changes in company HRIS (Workday).
  • Perform various tasks within Workday, including reviewing and updating job profiles.
  • Run reports in Workday and provide data to internal partners as requested.
  • Assist in creating and updating presentations on key HR metrics and performance for Altium’s Senior Leadership Team and other stakeholders.
  • Handle invoices for the HR department.
  • Assist with ad-hoc HR projects as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field
  • SHRM CP or equivalent certification
