Requirements

  • Associates Degree
  • 2 plus years of hands on technical experience
  • In lieu of a degree, 4 plus years of hands on technical experience required
  • Experience troubleshooting Microsoft Office, Active Directory Administration, and Virtualization Technologies
  • Solid knowledge of Networking, Ethernet Cabling, TCP/IP, and DNS
  • Experience troubleshooting Adobe, Standard and Professional software experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide Level I and II support remotely via phone, using remote tools or onsite
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware failures
  • Setup HP desktops, laptops, thin clients, and Microsoft Surface Pro units
  • Install hardware and peripheral components like docking stations, printers, keyboards, and monitors
  • Load software packages such as networking components, operating systems, and office applications
  • Prioritize and work on service desk tickets in the internal ticketing system
  • Accountable for being part of an ongoing after-hours on-call rotation
  • Develop and conduct various training and instruction for end users on OS and other applications
  • Assist users in maximizing the use of computing systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Past retail and customer service a plus!
  • 5 to 10 percent travel is a possibility
