Requirements
- Associates Degree
- 2 plus years of hands on technical experience
- In lieu of a degree, 4 plus years of hands on technical experience required
- Experience troubleshooting Microsoft Office, Active Directory Administration, and Virtualization Technologies
- Solid knowledge of Networking, Ethernet Cabling, TCP/IP, and DNS
- Experience troubleshooting Adobe, Standard and Professional software experience
Responsibilities
- Provide Level I and II support remotely via phone, using remote tools or onsite
- Troubleshoot software and hardware failures
- Setup HP desktops, laptops, thin clients, and Microsoft Surface Pro units
- Install hardware and peripheral components like docking stations, printers, keyboards, and monitors
- Load software packages such as networking components, operating systems, and office applications
- Prioritize and work on service desk tickets in the internal ticketing system
- Accountable for being part of an ongoing after-hours on-call rotation
- Develop and conduct various training and instruction for end users on OS and other applications
- Assist users in maximizing the use of computing systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Past retail and customer service a plus!
- 5 to 10 percent travel is a possibility
