Requirements
- Have Red Seal or Journeyman Certificate
- Be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma, GED, or work experience equivalent
- Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Be able to pass a drug screen and obtain airport security clearance, which includes an extensive 10-year employment, criminal record, and residence background check
- At least two years of experience with troubleshooting and repair on gas/diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, transmission/rear end, basic chassis/brakes, as well as fabrication skills (MIG and Arc welding/cutting)
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt response to equipment service requests to troubleshoot and repair: vehicles & belt loaders (unleaded, diesel, and propane engines), lavatory service trucks, air conditioner carts, ground power units, and more
- Perform and track preventative maintenance for each piece of equipment
- Work with station management to help control budget and order parts and supplies
Preferred Qualifications
- ASE Certification preferred
