Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of GSE electrical and hydraulic systems, including troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance.
- Relevant certifications in electrical and/or hydraulic systems or equivalent experience in electrical and hydraulic maintenance and repair.
- Proficiency in using electrical and hydraulic diagnostic tools and software.
- In-depth understanding of electrical and hydraulic safety standards and regulations related to GSE maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and components in various GSE, including wiring, circuits, and control systems.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic systems and components, including pumps, cylinders, and valves.
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on both electrical and hydraulic systems to ensure equipment reliability and prevent breakdowns.
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance comply with electrical and hydraulic safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of electrical and hydraulic repairs, maintenance activities, and system updates in the Fleet Management System (FMS).
- Work closely with other mechanics, electricians, and hydraulic specialists to address complex issues and ensure consistent knowledge-sharing.
- Recommend and implement upgrades or improvements to GSE electrical and hydraulic systems based on performance analysis and evolving operational needs.
- Provide guidance and training to other mechanics on electrical and hydraulic system diagnostics, repairs, and safety protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in diagnosing and repairing electrical and hydraulic systems in ground support equipment.
- Experience working with complex electrical and hydraulic systems, including control systems, wiring, pumps, and valves.
